SF to LA Movers

On average, the cost of movers form SF to LA:

a few items: $1,000-$2,000

studio apt: $2,500-3,500

1-bdrm apt: $3,000-$4,500

2-bdrm apt: $3,800-$5,600

3-bdrm house: $5,000-$7,000

The price depends on a) actual inventory i.e. your stuff; b) loading and unloading conditions; c) how busy the movers are and their schedule: sometimes it's cheaper to move when movers are busy if your move is small because Got2Move could have more chances to combine your move with another small move and offer your a better price; but large movers (2-bdrm+) usually can't be combined and then when we are almost booked up we might increase the cost of our services for last-minute requests.

To get the best price, get your quotes 3-5 weeks before the move date. Even if you are unsure about the exact move date, start collecting moving quotes as soon as possible.

Movers generally prefer using boxes over bags for packing belongings during a move from San Francisco to Los Angeles. While bags may be convenient for last-minute packing, they offer less stability. Using sturdy, heavy-duty boxes helps keep the load tight and prevents shifting, minimizing the risk of damage during transportation.

It all depends on our availability. We strongly recommend starting to arrange your move 3-5 weeks before the move date. However, things happen in life, and it's not uncommon for us to arrange long-distance moves between San Francisco and LA on short notice. Our regular office hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. 

The short answer is "Yes." However, in most cases, we don't offer same-day deliveries between SF and LA because it's unsafe and illegal to dispatch the same driver for pickup and delivery, as drivers must abide by state and Federal Laws when driving. However, if your pickup/loading can be done relatively quickly (up to 4 hours), we should be able to arrange the same-day delivery. Alternatively, we can dispatch one driver for pickup and another to drive to LA.

Yes, we do. 

1. Please provide your accurate inventory list and loading and unloading conditions. We love photos - they give us a very good idea of how to estimate and plan a move.

2. Please let us know if you have any flexibility with either your pickup date, delivery date, or both.

3. Pack your miscellaneous stuff into brand-new small and medium boxes by yourself.

And remember, the earlier you start planning your move, the better price quote you'll get! 3-5 weeks before the move is an ideal time.
